Comet Madmen

Born and raised in the heart of The Bronx, New York, Comet Madmen’s musical journey was shaped by the energy of his hometown. Growing up in the Kingsbridge-Jerome Avenue section of the Bronx, he was deeply influenced by the hip hop culture that surrounded him. Artists like Slick Rick and Fat Joe would frequent the local park, sparking Comet’s passion for music. Inspired by these moments, Comet dove into the world of hip hop, immersing himself in mixtapes from legends such as SNS, Doo Wop, Kid Capri, Budah Barber, Ron G, PF Cuttin, DJ Clue, and Tony Touch. Comet’s journey took him to Long Island, where he teamed up with fellow MC Emce Relic to form the group Madmen, which eventually evolved into the label Madmen Entertainment Inc. Over the years, Comet has collaborated with a host of respected artists, including Big Noyd, Tynitty (Godfather Pt. 3), Big Twin of Mobb Deep, Ruste Juxx of Duck Down Records, and appeared on Hardbodie Hip Hop. He’s also worked with hip hop icons like Sadat X of Brand Nubian and Krumb Snatcha of the Gang Starr family. With a deep respect for those who came before him, Comet draws inspiration from figures like "Party Arty R.I.P." (one half of G.D.), his big brother Screwball General "Blaq Poet," and Tragedy Khadafi, all of whom have influenced his sound and work ethic. Comet has released several impactful projects, including Ground Zero, Mad Screwz, End of Dayz, Cataclysm, and Smoke, each showcasing his growth as an artist and his dedication to keeping the culture alive. Known for his relentless work ethic and love for the craft, Comet is continuously pushing the boundaries of hip hop, aiming to restore the feeling and bring change to the game.
